Your initial consultation can take up to 45 minutes (depending on the nature and complexity of treatment required). Standard consultations are 30 minutes. All consultations are one on one with the physiotherapist. Our physiotherapists pride themselves on running to time, so please be on time for your appointment in order for them to maintain this standard.
A Medicare rebate is only available if you have an EPC/CMD (Enhanced Primary Care/Chronic Disease Management) referral from your doctor. There will be a small gap after the rebate is claimed. In order for us to process your rebate on the spot, you will need to bring an EFTPOS card with you. Full payment is required at the time of consultation. Please feel free to contact us to discuss further, or if you have extenuating circumstances that we may consider.
There is parking in the complex in which we are located. Please be aware that certain times of the day are busier than others. It is advisable to allow a little extra time for parking. There are 2 disabled spaces available also.
Please bring any scans you may have had done and any doctors notes that you may have. Don't worry if you do not have any of these things, you can still attend physiotherapy for treatment.
A referral is typically not required to see the physiotherapist. A referral is required for a Medicare rebate, however, these are generally only available for chronic and long term conditions (see Bulk Billing question above).

Each visit starts with an evaluation. This includes a brief question/answer session, typically followed by some physical tests. Treatments usually consist of a "hands-on" component (localised massage and joint mobilisations), education regarding your problem, and a targeted exercise program. Loose clothing is preferable, as this will make treatment easier. Gowns and shorts are available, if required for your consultation.
